2008 Best Student Paper Award in Compound Semiconductor MANTECH

ECE student Will Snodgrass, a member of Professor Milton Feng's research group will be awarded the 2008 Best Student Paper Award at the International Conference on Compound Semiconductor Manufacture Technology.

Mr. Snodgrass will receive a plaque and a cash award of $1,000 at the 2009 conference in Tampa, Florida on May 18th.

The selected best paper award title is "Nano-scale Type-II InP/GaAsSb DHBTs to reach THz Cutoff Frequencies," William Snodgrass and Milton Feng, University of Illinois.

Mr. Snodgrass is an NSF Fellow and a Bronze Tablet student. He has been awarded the John Bardeen Award as an undergrad and the Gregory Stillman Semiconductor Research Award as a graduate student.
