New Staff Member at MNTL

Larry J. Millet has been hired as a part-time Bio Lab Manager.  Larry will be working with students, faculty, and staff to further develop the facilities and help integrate micro and nanotechnology with biotechnology.   He will be helping to set-up protocols and procedures and training new students and postdocs working within the facility.  In addition to his staff responsibilities he will also be performing research in Dr. Bashir's group as a postdoc.  Larry comes to MNTL after completing his PhD under the direction of Martha Gillette in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology.  Larry received a BS from Portland State University, Portland, Oregon in 2001.  From 1998-2002 he was a Senior R&D Technician, in the Lithography Department of Portland Technology Development Division of Intel.
